At GFT, we meet children and adolescents exactly where they are. In our work with children, we use specialized play therapy and a family systems informed approach that creates a supportive environment where children can naturally express big emotions, process complex experiences, and develop healthy coping skills through creative exploration.
Our adolescent therapy practice approaches mental health through a family systems perspective, meaning we don't look at your teen in isolation. We view them as an interconnected part of a larger family ecosystem. Rather than focusing on "fixing" a single person, we collaborate with the whole family to uncover deep-rooted patterns, improve communication, and restore balance. By shifting the dynamics of the entire system, we help teenagers feel deeply supported while equipping parents with the tools to build a lasting foundation of trust, connection, and resilience.
We believe that a child's and a teenager’s well-being is deeply connected to their environment. Because lasting growth happens within the context of relationships, we actively partner with parents and families throughout the therapeutic journey. By strengthening family bonds and providing practical tools for home life, we help your child heal, grow, and thrive alongside the people who love them most.

Couples therapy is a great way to strengthen the relational bond between romantic partners. Our couples therapists are trained in various forms of attachment based couples therapy designed to help you get unstuck from repetitive relational patterns and find deep connection once again.
We help in this process by utilizing techniques from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Restoration Couples Therapy, and The Gottman Method all with the ultimate goal of increasing relationship satisfaction and deepening attachment bonds. We believe that strong attachment allows a couple to weather any relational storm that may come their way.

All of our therapists are trained to provide individual therapy from a psychodynamic perspective in order to help you process the deep and complex layers of the human psyche. Whether you are battling depression or anxiety, are feeling stuck in lifelong patterns, have struggled to manage complex relational dynamics, or are looking to grow into a deeper understanding of the self, individual therapy can help.
Our therapists will provide a warm, empathetic, and welcoming atmosphere to process complex inner dynamics with the goal of helping you see more clearly and grow in your sense of self.

Family Therapy is at the root of all that Marriage and Family Therapists do. Family Systems techniques guide MFTs in conceptualizing frustrating family dynamics that manifest in various ways - with couples, individuals, children, and the family unit as a whole.
As a result, our therapist offer family therapy sessions where members of a whole family can come together to find healing in the complex family dynamics. Family Therapy is done as a whole family unit - parents, kids, and even grandparents. Our therapists are trained to bring the whole family together, identify problematic sticky points in the relational dynamic, and help to bring about healing and understanding so each member of the family can thrive.

At various points throughout the year, our therapists offer group therapy sessions focusing on various topics including parenting, processing grief and loss, divorce, depression, and anxiety. Group therapy is a great way to access the benefits of therapy at a more affordable rate while experiencing the connection with other like-minded people that a group setting allows.
